How
to Decrease Your Membership Fees for Next Season
NYAC membership fees have been simplified for the 2011-12 season
by removing the fundraising assessment fee.
However, opportunities still exist to lower fees for your swimmer
for next season - 2012-13, provided your swimmer returns to NYAC
and your account is in good standing.
There are many fundraising opportunities available to families throughout
the year. Any monies raised will be split with the club on a 50/50
basis and credited towards the following year's fees.
The current opportunities for the 2011-12 season are outlined below:
Loblaws Gift Cards
About the program: NYAC sells Loblaws gift cards to our families
at face value. Three percent (3%) from the sale of the gift card
goes towards the family's fundraising account. For example, if you
were to purchase $100.00 of Loblaws gift cards, $3.00 would be credited
to your NYAC account. These cards may be used at Loblaws or any
of its affiliates including No Frills and Supercentre.
Purchase and Delivery:
Payment is by cheque only, made out to NYAC. Please contact me at
kitchenwizard65@hotmail.com
if you would like to participate in the program. Cards will be available
in $100.00 and $250.00 denominations.
Cookie Dough Fundraiser
About the program: This year we will be once again enjoying Terra
Cotta Cookies. A variety of products are available for purchase,
including frozen cookie dough, brownies and ready to eat cookies.
All products are peanut and nut free. This is another opportunity
to contribute to the family's fundraising account. The profits of
this fundraiser will be split 50/50 between the club and the NYAC
seller, again applied to next year's fees. For example each $10.00
item sold is equivalent to a $1.50 credit towards next year's fees.
