Exciting
racing and swimmer breakthroughs highlighted this year's Junior SC Provincial
Championships. How good it is to see our up and coming stars of the future win
medals, earn points and break club records. We even had some meet records set
that pave the way for future results. The 13-14 girls and boys age groups were
the big point winners scoring 608 individual points. Relays were outstanding with
the boys 12-13 winning all four relays. Overall
we won 10 Gold, 12 Silver and 3 Bronze medals and set one meet record, three NYAC
records, and 57 swims in finals! All 28 NYAC qualifiers are to be congratulated
for making this meet very successful. The percentage of best times was 61%, with
107 swims out of 175 being best times. There were 23 wow swims.
