The High River Tiger Swim club is located in High River, Alberta approximately 30 minutes south of Calgary.  The club consists of 45 swimmers ranging in ability from the Development level to A Provincial level athletes.

 

The club is looking for a part-time Assistant coach that has a passion for the sport of swimming and enjoys working with youth of all ages and capabilities.

 

The candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

 

-Minimum Level 1 skills coach (or willing to become certified).

-Strong communication skills – with swimmers, parents and other coaches.

-Attend swim meets when required.

-Implement a goal setting program that will motivate swimmers.

-Plan and implement practices.

-Attend coaches and club events.

-Complete various administrative duties as requested.

-Previous coaching or competitive swimming would be an asset.

 

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
