Part time coaching position with Pickering Swim Club

Pickering Swim Club is looking for an assistant to help assist our Age group/ Head Coach. PSC is a growing club and we believe technique will continue to benefit our Age Group Program. Our team is seeking a coach with this same philosophy to join our Club and to help build the foundation for a team that performs from novice to national level. We want a dynamic individual, creative in their ability to coach swimmers through the fundamentals of technique up to age group racing. Experience with a wide range of swimmers is an asset, but an innovative mind and quick study also welcome.

Level of athletes: age group level, 8 to 14 years

Competitions: Some meets

Hours: 10-12 hours per week, evenings and weekends

Compensation: based on experience and qualifications

Availability: September, 2012

Qualifications: minimum 2 years’ experience and Fundamental coach certified; consider previous training up to certification Level 1 NCCP, NLS.

Assets - related leadership training, related land training experience
