The Merritt Otters Swim Club is seeking to fill the positions of Head Coach and Assistant Coach for the 2013 Summer Season.

About Us:

The Merritt Otters are a competitive summer swim club and a member of the BCSSA competing in the Okanagan Region. We are located 2.5 hours from Vancouver; 1 hour from Kelowna; and 1 hour from Kamloops. The club is composed of swimmers of all abilities.

Term:
May 1st, 2013 - August 18th, 2013

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
-Have previous coaching experience;
-Be passionate about swimming;
-Possess at minimum a current NCCP Fundamentals Coach (Level 1);
-Know how to plan daily/seasonal workouts, dry land and swimming programs for multiple age groups and abilities;
-Be an effective communicator
Preference is given to post-secondary students continuing their education during 2013/2014.

Salary:
Negotiable. Dependent upon experience and qualifications.
