o JENNA ROMAN= 10/u girls 50BR & 50FL ( Jenna improved= her Club Record in the 10 & under 50 Fly)

o RICHARD HORTNESS 15/o boys 50FR

o HAYLEY NELL= 15/o girls 50FR (tied)

· to LEAH MAYER and CARLY CERMAK, who competed in the Provincial 5K Open Water event at Professor's Lake in Brampton last Wednesday. Carly was 4th and Leah= 9th out of 27 competitors in the female open division.

AGE GROUP NATIONALS

Team travel is in place for this meet. Anne Orfanides = will be chaperone, rooms have been booked at The Inn on the Forks, and transportation while in Winnipeg has been arranged. Please notify Andrew if you are interested in this option.

2010 DR. PAUL HAUCH INVITATIONAL SWIM MEET

WOW - spectacular, magnificent, fantastic! What more can we say - thank you LAC for being the best swimming club in Canada! You were all so awesome at pulling together and helping out this weekend to

truly make this THE BEST HAUCH MEET YET!!!! Thank you everyone!

Special thanks goes to all the officials that came out and endured the sun = and splashes to try out a new timing system. After the bugs were worked o= ut, it ran smoothly. Thank-you especially to Alex for organizing senior officials and Stacey and Tracy for organizing timers and looking after givi= ng out the bell prizes - thats= what makes it fun for the kids!

Super special thanks goes to the canteen committee of Leslie, Tom, Jaqui, Steve = and Holly who put on an tremendous BBQ on Saturday a= nd had a great lunch for officials on Sunday. You had some

challenges and did a great job.

Thank you set-up crew of Bob, Gr= eg, Dmitry. You worked through the ra= in Friday morning to get things

ready - way to go! As usual, our technical gurus (Rose = and Saad and Shannon) were outstanding and kept the Dolph= in software recording. <= /o:p>

Thanks for everyone who hung aro= und and helped clean up on Sunday after a long weekend!

We cannot forget to thank Mother Nature for providing us the best weather possible!

There is a lot to organizing suc= h an event, but, without the support of our fantastic parents and volunteers, th= is meet could not have happened. The swimmers had a delightful time and = we received endless comments about our great new facility and a well run event. Congratulations LAC families! It is wonderful to know that we can

count on you to host a top notch meet. Again, thank you everyone!

Do get ready for a rematch in the family relays next year! We really must redeem ourselves! The challenge is out for 2011.<= /o:p>

TRAVEL ACCOUNTS

Travel account statements were sent out this week with a few exceptions. If you have not received your statement yet or have any questions about i= tems on the statement when you receive it, please contact Steve Roman at<= span style=3D'font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";mso-fareast= -font-family: "Times New Roman"'> lac.treasurer@gmail.com.

For members with a swimmer who's only remaining swim meet is = ;the Paul Hauch meet, you may wish to add the entry = fee of $75 per swimmer to your payment.

Online Payments

Members who bank online with TD Canada Trust can now make travel account payments electronically. Member's unique account number is on your travel account statement.

For members who do not bank with TD Canada Trust, you will be able to make on-line payments using a web based service called TelP= ay. Instructions on setting up this payment option were included with your trav= el account e-mail.
