Congratulations to the 11 swimmers who competed, with great results, at SC Provin-
cials from this group. Alex Mierzynski got 2 golds, 4 silvers and 1 bronze, scoring 81
points!! Bronwyn Colford won a silver and a bronze. She also got her Age Group Na-
tional time in 200 fly!! Nathaniel Hu and Connie Yang were also medal winners. Na-
thaniel scored 30 points and was also on the 11 year boys relay that won 4 golds.

Be tough, think positively and
make sure that you have fun
along the way. For those
swimmers who have made
huge strides but are just short
of their goals, do not give up.
Your continued efforts to
achieve will be rewarded if
you truly believe you can do
it. Be honest with yourselves
and demand your best effort

This group is loaded
with talented swimmers who
really like to race and who
have made the decision that
they really want to improve. I
feel that there is still a lot of
untapped potential just wait-
ing to explode into action. As
a group, we need to help push
Let me begin by saying,
congratulations to all swim-
mers on a short course season
well done. I'm very pleased
with the progress all the kids
have made so far. They have
worked very hard to improve
their stroke technique. This is
reflected in their times. We
have seen swimmers drop
huge amounts of time at each
meet.
When a goal is reached,
it usually comes after much
hard work, incredible focus
and perseverance. For those
swimmers who have already
achieved a goal, the feeling is
awesome. Way to go! Be
aware, though; the road has
only begun. Use your suc-
cesses to fuel your confi-
dence and belief in yourself.

of the focus of the set. Re-
member...smart swimming in
practice really pays off at a
meet. Teammates who care

Most people in life never
really test themselves to see
what they are truly capable of.
As athletes of excellence, we
can't afford to do that. We
must constantly push the lim-
its of what we think we can
do. After a win or a loss the
strategy is the same, really...
