| After his first season coaching with NYAC John is back for a second season coaching Provincial 2 and Intro 1. He started his swimming career in Hawkesbury Ontario where he competed for 9 years with Hawkesbury ORCA. He started his coaching career in Hawkesbury while swimming at the provincial level but soon moved to Toronto to pursue his career of joining the fire department. While at college he was a member of the varsity Cross-Country team at Seneca for two consecutive years and completed a half-marathon in that time. After joining NYAC, John got the swimming bug and joined Trillium Y Masters Swimming and recently completed a 5K open water swim. John believes that swimming is a lifelong pursuit and you should always make goals and exceed them. Best of luck to all NYAC swimmers this season! | ||
