Why This Committee will
hear public deputations asking the City of Toronto to work with the TDSB to develop
an aquatic strategy for the Citys 2.5 million residents before any pools
are closed.

Toronto has a higher
proportion of its public pools in schools than any other urban centre in Canada.
The City offers 45% of its swimming programs in TDSB school pools. Come and show
your support now before any pools are closed in June 2009.
