The Quinte Dolphins is a small rural swim team, from beautiful Prince Edward County. The Dolphins home is the newly named Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Club, (PEFAC), located at 13263B Loyalist Parkway, Picton. This 6 lane 25 meter pool is the center piece of a recreation facility that exists in part because of the thoughtfulness and resourcefulness of the Lester family; and more recently because of the hard work of a group of concerned citizens know locally as The Friends of the Rec Plex

Run by a volunteer board, the Quinte Dolphin Swim Club is committed to developing excellence in our swimmers in an environment that builds character and a feeling of team spirit. Our focus is on the individual, our vision is for the Team. No one can predict the future, there are no guarantees of personal bests or podium finishes, but you can rest assured that anyone swimming for the Quinte Dolphins will be ready to do their best when they step on deck at a swim meet, and they will be there with the support and positive encouragement of the Coaching Staff, Executive, and Parents.

The 2005-2006 season has come to a close for the Dolphins with Rebecca Cronkwright's attendance at Age Group Nationals held in Calgary. This is the second straight year that Rebecca has qualified for this meet; and like last year she had her best swim on Sunday, shaving nearly half a second from her previous personal best. That brings this year's team total to an impressive 362 personal best swims from 655 individual entries, a success rate of 55%. The 2006-2007 season begins September 6th for returning swimmers and September 11th for new registrations, and our goal will again be to improve on last years success.
