Great effort on the first T 30 min. swim - some personal best
distances achieved, and a real competitiveness shown throughout the
test. PSW meet Oct. 14-15 helped to highlight early achievements
and focus attention on skills that still need attention. Well done
on team spirit and support. In your log book you
should assess your races - did you meet your expectations? did you
maintain intent and competitiveness? did you keep your focus? what
is your next step - what needs the most attention right now? November
meets include - regional and provincial high school meets, Spartan
regional, and Chinook pentathlon - Seattle. Each meet challenges
you in a different way and provides opportunity to direct you toward
your goal. This week in training - mainly AC low intensity, and 3
speed technique sets with efficiency challenges included - T50 + sc.
Ooops - power failure! The T30 scheduled for last Wednesday will now be on Wed. 22nd. Swims at the regional meet in Chilliwack were generally excellent, especially in 400 free and 400 IM. Barring any more wind-storm sabotage it will be a full training load this week, including a T1000 k on Saturday.
