GSH is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Part-Time Swim Coach to join our coaching team, as lead coach of the Age Group training squad (squad description and schedule: https://www.swimgsh.ca/page/custom-page1/age-group). The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Coach to deliver high-quality training, support athlete development, and contribute to a positive club culture.
Responsibilities
- Coach assigned training groups and support athlete development.
- Deliver engaging, safe, and effective practices.
- Attend and coach at swim meets, including occasional travel.
- Provide feedback and mentorship to swimmers.
- Complete administrative duties as required.
- Build positive relationships with swimmers, parents, and fellow coaches.
- Participate in staff meetings and club events.
- Adhere to all GSH, Swim Ontario, and Swimming Canada policies.
Schedule
- 5 practices per week (Monday-Saturday)
- Early morning and/or evening coaching sessions
- Weekend swim meets as required
- Flexible administrative hours
