CSCA Coach Registration Guide
Coaches must reapply for membership with the CSCA at the start of each swim season and memberships are Active until September 1 each year unless otherwise noted.
If you are currently working inside a Program that operates inside the umbrella of Swimming Canada, your registration process is initiated by your Club Registrar through the Swimming Canada registration site. If you are not working with a SNC affiliated swim club please reach out to your Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) for them to act as your registrar. If you are from outside of Canada, please contact the CSCA to discuss virtual or international registration.
Steps for Registration
1) Your club must have an account registered through their Provincial Swimming Office registration staff in order to access the Swimming Canada Registration, Tracking, and Results system (SNC RTR)
2) Club Registrar must register club coaches* through the SNC RTR.
*If you have new coaches or returning coaches who are required to complete a Vulnerable Sectors Check as part of your PSO requirement, or if you feel that they may have other outstanding requirements please make sure that you place these coaches on to separate invoices. This will remove any potential hold ups when processing registrations for the other coaches. If you choose to create multiple invoices, we ask that you submit one payment for all invoices via e-transfer to payments@csca.org. Please include the club name and invoice numbers in the comments section.
Ensure that your coaches are registered in the correct categories (see below):
Please note that these fees do not include registrations for other organizations including: Provincial Sections, Regional Swim Coaches Association, or Swimming Canada.
The CSCA membership fees have not been increased since 2009.
Membership with the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) is available as an optional membership at a reduced rate of $90.00 through CSCA while completing registration.
3) Payment for coach registration fees to CSCA can be paid via the following methods:
A) E-Transfers can be made to payments@csca.org. Whenever possible, this is the preferred method of payment. When making the payment please indicate your CSCA invoice number, and your club name.
B) Credit Card via the SNC RTR
i) Login using your club registrar login
ii) Hover over 'Invoices' tab and select 'Coaches invoice'
iii) In the list of invoices select 'Pay online' and proceed with payment
C) Credit Card via PayPal
*Please email savannah@csca.org to request a PayPal invoice.
D) Cheques can be mailed to the CSCA head office

4) Once registration fees are paid, each registered coach will receive a personalized email directing them to sign in* and complete their screening questionnaire.
*All returning coaches will need their CSCA username and password to complete their registration. New coaches will simply need to follow the steps to create a new profile in order to complete their registration.
Delays in registration may occur in the instance of:
A) A positive response to the CSCA screening process.
B) Any missing requirements for SNC or your respective Provincial Sport Organization (PSO). These include registration payments made to your PSO or SNC. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the requirements of your Province and Swimming Canada, including the Safe Sport training requirement.
C) Delays in making the payment for coach invoice.
